Applies to: Agencies writing their offer or website
How should I position my agency's offer, and what should my website headline say?
Sell outcomes, not software. Business owners usually know little about AI, do not want to learn to build an agent and want someone to do it for them. What they want boils down to more leads, more sales, more appointments, more bookings or more revenue. If you sell software or an AI chat widget, you are priced like one and compared with every other tool, and there is always something cheaper. If you sell a solution that produces revenue, you can charge thousands of dollars a month instead of hundreds. You do not hand clients a login and say have fun: you build and set up the system and deliver the result.
Build around what businesses already have. For example, add more booked service appointments for a business that already uses another CRM, so it does not have to switch and you can work with more clients. Tell the client what needs to be done instead of asking what they want, and focus your offer on a few services instead of presenting all 38 tools. Low hanging fruit includes automated social media content, getting more Google reviews, an AI receptionist and 24/7 answering service, and a website redesign and funnel. Pick a niche, find its problems and build a repeatable solution; snapshots let you do the work once and sell it over and over.
On your website, put exactly what you do in the big bold H1 headline, like an elevator pitch, so your ideal client understands it immediately. Lead with the end result, not the feature: instead of no more missed calls or a 24/7 answering service, ask so what, and then what, and say something like more service appointments booked every month. People do not buy the best AI, many voices or bilingual AI; they buy a solution and an outcome, so the message becomes do you have this problem, great, we fix it. Explain how you deliver it (the AI receptionist, database reactivation and so on) and the value you provide lower on the page.
When you ask the AI assistant to build the page, tell it exactly this: lead with the result, then explain how you deliver it and the value you provide, plus your favorite colors. The more detail you give, the better the result. If you serve several related niches, such as HVAC and other home services, one site can work if the messaging feels like it is for each of them, but a single niche makes visitors think this is exactly for me.
